He came back few days later and told husband about some vehicles he had. Husband gave him $400.00, toward one... After christmas we test drove... NOWAY, so he said he had another one it was Ford Taurus, needed transmission work... he already had trans.. would take to guy and get fixed we would pay... NEVER Happened.. so on in January we gave him final $400.00. He then said to husband He would have to find the Title and get it to us... that was in January, then he said he could not find the title would have to file for lost title, in february said it would be 2 more weeks, called Tag office wasnt true, went back weeks later , it would be another 2 weeks, called last week, on thursday 4-18-02 and he said that ''I was suppose to bring the V.I.N. Re: What do I do?
I would suggest sending the guy a letter, certified mail, that unless he gets you the title to a working car in 10 days that you will sue him in small claims court for the money you gave him.
