Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
my husband and i purchased a used 06 bumper pull camper . when we were looking to buy it the refridgerator wouldn't work . we bought it and on the paper work ,right under the as is-no warranty they put they would fix the refridgerator to proper working order if purchased . we bought it, it didn't work they have been working on it ,but we were informed we bought it as is no warranty and they could charge us for fixing the refridgerator. does the hand written promisary note over ride the no warrenty?

In my opinion the handwritten note by the seller overrides the 'as-is' as to the refrigerator. You may have to litigate to enforce it, however.
