Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
hyundai of el paso is responsible
on september 21 i went to hyundai to get my alarm fixed they called me my car was ready. following wednesday after i got out of work my alarm was not working again so i had to manually lock my car which means my alarm will be off and it just so happens that day they broke into my car and stoled my radio, dvd player, and amp. i went to hyundai and advised them because of them not doing the work right my car got broken into now theyre giving me hell just to give me my money back for my stuff. they told me to take it in for some tests two days in a row which they did nothing but just take my radio out because they were trying to blame it on circuit city because of the way they had installed the radio i had just gotten which circuit city told me exactly what they did and actually let me take pictures of theyre work too. hyundai cannot give me a straight answer they keep giving all these answers that just dont add up they think were gonna say ''ok'' and leave but no. i actually feel like they think were 5 yrs old and wouldnt understand what they are saying anyway. i already went to a lawyer for advise he said to go on with small claim court but at this point i am really scared that at the end i will still get nothing from them.

The lawyer gave you good advice about taking them to small claims court.
Just a thought == did insurance cover your theft losses? If so, complain to your insurance company, that you want to sue the dealership for their role in this mess. Your policy may require them to provide you an attorney.
