Info needed on ''how can someone charge?''
OK, Last year mother in law bought me a computer and added Compuserveinternet serv. around new years my husband aaaccidentally bought something onine and it was charged to her credit card on file... We didnt jnow it,,, so she go mad took computer away... She defaulted on rebate.. So i think they charged back to her credit card... She now getting bill for, and blaming me for having her credit card # and accuse me of chrging things to her card... How can i find out about it??? And what can i do?

Your mother-in-law will need to contact her credit card company to dispute the charge and for information as to how the charge was made. She may be able to contact Compuserve customer service for information about the on-line order. Since the Compuserve Internet service and the credit card are not in your name, it is unlikely you will be able to take any action yourself. They will only give information to the account holder.
