Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
internet unauthorized billing
i am an internet customer with aol. i have someone else reconsile my bank statements and i have just been reviewing them and i see that aol has opened up three new accounts without my approval. the amount is 29.80 each month, four times and i do not have this many accounts and nor did i ever approve such a crazy thing. i need to know if there is a law that protects me against this and if i have any recourse in getting my money back.
thanks pam

Re: internet unauthorized billing
I suggest that you tell AOL that you did not authorize these new accounts and to reverse the billings. If they insist that you did authorize the accounts and billings, ask for documentary evidence.
