Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Lease agreement
My wife and I have signed a two year lease contract with a fellow classmate. The class mate kicked us both out of the house and has changed the locks. We only had three days to remove as many of our belongings as possible. We now have no place to live, our landlord considers this to be a personal dispute and does not want to be involved. We can not afford to sign another lease contract and still pay the current contract on the house we were kicked out of...she has also threatened me that at least three different people are going to kill me and I am worried also about my wife's and my safety.. Is there any legal action that can be taken to release us from the lease or what would be suggestible in this situation?

Re: Lease agreement
If you have been wrongfully evicted, then you need to file suit against the co-tenant and the landlord.
