I would like to know what the lemmon law covers in regards to the purchase of a used vehicle.

Nothing. The Texas Lemon Law applies only to the purchase of new vehicles.
Used vehicles are sold, "As is, where is", subject only to written warranties. No written warranty, all the problems are yours as soon as you sign the contract.
