Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Lend
When a company is saying they are going to put a lend on your home or on any other items, how long to they have to do that and what all can they put a lend on? Can they put a lend on your car eventhough its paid off? Thanks

If the house is your homestead, a lien cannot be put on your home. Many unscrupulous collection agents threaten to do this, but it won't happen.
