Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
on loans
i was one month late on a loan. I did call in advance telling them that i was having money problems. they were rude and said if you don't pay we are going to sue. well i paid but the next time they started going to my job and home is that ok? even when i was just a week late

The fact that you're short of pocket isn't an excuse for not paying when due. It's the reason, but not an excuse.
If the payment is due on the 15th, it's your duty to make sure they've got it by the 15th. The 16th is late and they can sue you for breach of contract.
