Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Malicious Prosecution
We invested in a gas/oil well company which turned out to be a scam. We have a law suit pending against them in Georgia, I think in Federal court. They have now sued 3 investors personally in TExas. CAn I answer the summons by mail and how?

Re: Malicious Prosecution
You can mail an answer to the lawsuit to the Court where it is pending. But this sounds like a rather complicated lawsuit for which it would be greatly in your best interest to hire an attorney to represent you.

I would suggest hiring an attorney, since Federal procedure can be a bit tricky for self-help.
