Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Merchandise received after refund
I placed an order with an online company located in TX. After several weeks, no merchandise was received. I tried to contact the company several times during this period, but received no response. I filed a claim with Paypal. After investigating, Paypal refunded my payment (32 days after order was placed). The merchandise arrived after my refund was processed. I tried to re-submit payment once I received the products, but the company refused my payment. What steps do I need to take if I do not want to return the merchandise? The company has sent me emails calling me a ''thief''.

Re: Merchandise received after refund
Explain the situation to them and see if they'll accept a cashier's check in payment. Have they given any explanation for why delivery took so long? Or do they advertise that they need X number of weeks for delivery?
Re: Merchandise received after refund
Pick up the telephone and call them. They should be happy to get the money. Keep proof of your payment to them.
