Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Minor entering contract with a trade
My nephew, a minor, went to a used car dealership in his ford mustang. He decided to trade his car for a truck. He left the dealership and returned 3 hours later to get his car back. The salesperson had already taken out his $800 dollar stereo. The salesperson did not want to return the car back unless my nephew gave him $500 dollars. My nephew agreed out of inexperience. Can he get compensation for his losses.

Re: Minor entering contract with a trade
Generally a minor should be able to change his mind. That is the trouble with trying to contract with a minor. You might have to go to small claims court or get a local lawyer.
