Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Mobil home park
The landlord at my mobil home park raised my rent from $175 to $225 last month and said $25 of that was because I have two cars. We park on the land our home is parked on so there is no upkeep on a parking place. Then today he raised it to $250 because I have a dog that I keep in the house. I am on disability and can't afford this and can't afford to move either. I have to have two cars because my wife works and I have to go to the doctor's. I am asking, is this legal for him to charge extra for parking when he don't have a parking lot and charging for a dog that I keep in my own home. This is a house dog and don't roam the park.

Re: Mobil home park
I would need to read your lease and other community agreements to have an opinion on this. You may have a way to challenge the owner.
