Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Odometer Fraud
I purchased a used honda accord from a small used car dealer the other day for $3700. When i looked through the papers and past service invoices in the glove box, i discovered that the cars odometer has been rolled back by 100,000 miles. I don't recall ever seeinf or signing any kind of odometer statement. What should i do about this? Should i contact the dealer and threaten to take legal action if he fails to give--name removed--a refund? How would i go about taking legal action? The service invoices that i found have the vehicles VIN number and mileage reading. HELP!

Re: Odometer Fraud
Either get your money back from the dealer, or file suit against him in JP court, and report him to DOT for the falsified odometer representation.
