Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
order product online
I ordered 2 items from dell on 3-30-07. (a remote control and a flashed drive) i cancelled order on 4-5-07 and they called me on 4-10-07 and said the order was on back order and then said it was going to ship out same week. i called today to check status and was told it may not ship until 4-20-07. when i tried to cancel they said i can't because its in production. the items are on backorder so they cant be in production. what can i do?

You can have an attorney talk with Dell. I can do this if you wish.

Mr. Nance's solution is highly satisfactory. However, you could file a dispute with your credit card company (if that is how you paid for products) and refuse to pay Dell's charges. That usually gets somebody's attention.
