Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
I paid $220.00 in registration fees to a non-profit organization to attend a seminar they were hosting. They group has canceled the event. Do they have legal rights to keep the money I paid? It seems wrong for them to keep it.

Was it a donation or a registration fee? If it was a registration fee, then you are entitled to your money back.
