Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
I purchased a used car with an extended warranty in November of 2009. I made my first payment in December and in January of 2010 the transmission fluid line broken and damaged the transmission. My extended warranty kicked in and paid for a tow truck, a rental car, and the repair of the transmission fluid line. However, the refused to pay for the transmission to be repaired stating that the power train warranty from Ford should pay for the repairs. Ford denied the claim stating the extended warranty should pay not them. Do I a leg stand on in getting my transmission repairs fixed. I have two warranties but neither will fix the car. I've made one payment and and now have a car that does not work. Any suggestions??
