Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
We have received damaged furniture from a Furniture company. Even though we have gotten our money back, the furniture has not been picked up. It has been almost 2.5 months. When can we get rid off the furniture that has been taken too much space in our house? We want to ensure the Furniture company does not come back some time in the future and demands their furniture back. Thank you

Write them a cordial letter and thank them for refunding your money. Tell them that the furniture is still at your house. Tell them that if they don't come pick it up by 5:00 pm on December 16, you will assume that they will NEVER pick it up, and you will dispose of it.
Send the letter by certified mail, and keep a copy.
