Can I recsind a motorcycle contract 24 hours later

I signed a contract to purchase a motorcycle yesterday around 6 pm. After discussing this with my wife I need to cancel this contract. Harley Davidson is telling me that I will lose my deposit of $400 usd and will also be liable for the extent of the contract. Can I cancel this contract wtihin 24 hours?

There is no law that allows you to back out of a contract once signed. You signed a contract and are bound by its terms.
