Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

i would like to know if you are sending in a car payment of at least $100.00 a month is that considered by law that the finance company is accepting payment and theycan not reposses your vehicle that is what i have heard and i know that some friends of mind have done with out any problems

They may be accepting your payment but that doesn't prevent them from enforcing the contract you signed in which you agreed to pay more per month than $100. IF you do not comply with the terms of the contract, they can certainly repossess your vehicle, with no prior notice.

You should talk with them and see if they will agree to a smaller payment, at least for a limited time.
