Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Return of a Mattress
I just bought a tempurpedic and returned it within the 60 days. The men that came to pick it up did not check it and took it with them, but gave me a receipt stating they picked it up. Two days later i get a call saying they cant accept the mattress because of a small stain on it. They want to make an appointment to deliver it back to my home. Is this legal? Can they force me to accept this item after they came to pick it up and gave me the receipt?

Re: Return of a Mattress
Check your original agreement -- does it require the return to be in 'perfect'condition?
Send them a certified letter for the return of your money, as you complied with the terms of their warranty. If they do not, then sue them.
