Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
return of used vehicle
If the dealership agrees to accept the vehicle back; will it still be listed as a repo? Also, the dealership stated once 6mos of on-time payment has been established my husbands name could be removed and my step daughter will re apply for credit worthiness under her name only. Is this true?

Re: return of used vehicle
Voluntary return of the vehicle is still a repo, and will be listed as a repo. As for the timely payments, that is discretionary on their part, unless they are willing to put it in an enforceable contract.
