Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Returning a Car Two days after Signing Contract
My car was repossesed, and I found myself without transportation for work. I became desperate, and signed a contract today with someone that offered me credit, but the terms are too high and there is no way I can continue paying for the car and still be able to afford anything else. Tonight I found a way to have transportation without buying the car, and someone told me that under Texas law I can return the car within three days of signing the contract without it affecting my credit. Is this true? What can I do to return the car?

Re: Returning a Car Two days after Signing Contract
Your friend is incorrect. There is NO right to rescind a contract within three days. The contract you signed is final and enforceable.
