Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Returning a used car
I purchased a used car. Signed a contract and drove off. I have had the car for approx 3 wks. I had to resign a contract because they lowered the intrest rate. I signed it, but I also informed them that there were many things wrong with the car. Now I find an oil leak. I have not made a payment on the loan yet. Can I return it to the dealership? I believe that this car is going to be a lemon. What can I legally do?

Re: Returning a used car
No, unless there was a warranty (unusual on a used car) or they specifically made enforceable claims about the condition of the car; you own it.
