Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Do I have rights under the Lemon Law
My car was purchased Used from Carmax, and a little after 2 months of ownership, my car would not start one morning. It had over 3,000 dollars in warranty work done. A month later i pressed the defrost button in my car, and the back glass shatterd. (a convertible) The dealership would not honor the Ford Warranty with my car, and was thretening to charge me 6,000 dollars to have it repaired. We thretened to sue, and the dealership paid the cost outright. My car was repaired, however I am very upset this car supposedly had an inspection and has had almost 10,000 dollars in work in less than a year. Do I have any rights since I am not the original owner of the vehicle?

Re: Do I have rights under the Lemon Law
You may have other rights, but not under the Lemon Law; that deals strictly with the original purchaser of a new vehicle.
