Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
RV deal gone bad
I had an agreement to purchase an RV/Bus Shell for $12,500 from a gentleman in Texas (1400 Mi from home) I Paypaled $2000 for a deposit to hold the bus until my associate could come down to inspect, with the intention of completing sale. On arrival the unit was far from what was described. What are my rights to the return of the deposit, being we had a verbal agreement only. Thanks.

When you said gentleman in Texas, did you mean a business in Texas? If so, you may have a cause of action against him, otherwise, good luck trying to collect your money back. You can always take him to small claims court.
