Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
sol
In Texas which has a 4 year Statue Of Limitations can a car finance company come after you 6 years after a car has been repod? We sent them a letter as the SOL two years ago expired then my partner went on line for a new car loan and they happened to call my home looking for him the next day and when I said he did not live here starting harrasing me.

Re: sol
They shouldn't but you'll need to get a lawyer to raise that issue and get rid of the case; maybe file a counterclaim for fair debt collection violations for filing a suit outside the statute of limitations
