Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
My son is buying a car from a friend. They signed a contract saying that the car will be paid for in a timely manner. His mother has decided that she thinks the car should be paid off in two weeks, he has only had the car for two months, can she legally come and take the car?

Your son needs to buy a steering wheel lock for the car. And he should start parking it in the garage.
Since an automobile is the subject of a title document, a lien should have been recorded with the state. A contract to pay "in a timely manner" is too vague to be a contract.
In any case, it's none of the mother's business, is it? Why is anybody listening to her?
