Spousal Liability
If a husband is dead and had personal debt, is the wife liable to pay his debt? The debt was only in husbands name and was aquired before and during the marriage.

Depending on the type and nature of the debt the spouse may be liable. Without more facts it's difficult to answer this question. . .
