Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Store refund
oI bought a bird from a pet store. By the time i got to my car the bird opened the cage and flew away. The store manager said he would get me another one by the next day. It has been 3 weeks and i can tell that the store is just taking me in circles with no plan on doing anything. The pet store hadnt secured tha cage, the store clerk told me after the fact that yes those kinds of birds are smart and can open the cage door. I dont understand that if they knew this why didnt they secure the cage. The store has no refund policy at all, they are saying that they wont give me my money back because they would lose. I was trying to find out if there is anything i can about this to get my money back.

Re: Store refund
You can take them to small claims (JP) court, but based upon the facts you have presented, you could have difficulty prevailing.
