Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

Sue for falsification

I had some work done to my ATV and the dealer I brought it to told me I had to spend $1600 just to get it running again and then will need to work on other things. I told them to not do that work and I would come pick it up. They charged me $200 for the work they say they did, gave me my ATV back with the engine in parts in a box, and a quote for $1600 to get it running again. I brought it to someone else who put it back together and it started up after a few minor adjustments.

Is there a way that I could teach them a lesson and sue them for not telling the truth and trying to get me to spend a bunch of money that was not even needed?

yes a letter from our firm or other lawyer for refund of $200 and cost of repair with new mechanic...under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act....IF YOU HAVE all documents to prove your case..and are willing to pay to file a lawsuit if they do not pay...consider all your damages..good luck
