taking over vehicle payments
I have a car that is not paid for completly. I
let a friend take over payments. Only verbal
contract. Do I have the right to get my
vehicle back.

Verbal contracts that survive the Statute of Frauds are often upheld and enforced in court. If you take the car, you can be sued.
