Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
I am in Texas. I found out today that my bank account has been garnished for a judgement from a credit card company in 2002. I have more than enough in my account than what the judgement was for. They garnished my whole account so that I can not access any of my funds not just for the judgement is for. Is this legal? What can I do to get some of my funds released? Thank you so much for your help.

you should have access to funds not garnished..and the bank should take the amount garnished and set aside for payment...Have you talked to an officer of the bank? Not just a secretary...and do you have the documents? Call if you wish to discuss
