Texas Judgement for bad debt

When a judgement is rendered is there a time limit that, the person granted the judgement, that action must be taken to attempt recovery of the judgement amount in the state of texas? This was for a credit card indebtedness.

Re: Texas Judgement for bad debt

A judgment is good for 10 years, and can be revived every 10 years by ordering a writ of execution. It usually will keep increasing by post-judgment interest.
