Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Texell Credit Union offered to refinance our vehicle. It mailed us a card that said "you are pre approved for 1.49%. When we called in they offered us 1.99%. We told them our mailer said we were pre approved for 1.49% and they refused to honor the offer. Isn't this a "bait & switch"?

There is likely a "if you qualify" or "for well qualified customers" phrase on the offer. If not, contact your local prosecutors' office to see if they have a consumer fraud unit and report it.
