i want to know if it's requested to use blue book for value to come up with value of my truck 1994 150 pick up double cab truck.

Book value, or equivalent, is usually used for insurance payouts. Just make sure they're using retail values and not wholesale. Check the local classified ads to see whether the market value is appreciably higher in your area. That gives the claims adjuster a framework for a higher payout.
