Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Traded in car has transmission issue
I traded in a car at a used dealership and now the dealership is saying that my old car as a transmission issue and I need to bring the car back in and reverse the deal or pay what it would cost to fix the transmission. I don't think legally that they can do this. Is this correct. I didn't know the car had transmission issues. If the car I bought went out the next day I would have to get it fixed because I bought it ''as is'' so why should I have to reverse this transaction?

No you don't. If they continue to cause a problem for you, contact the State DOT, dealer division.
