Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Hello,
My name is veronica my husband and i just got married this year but have been together for the past 10 years. My question for you is McDonalds moves in sccross the street about 13 yrs ago i mean directly accross the street. Just about every day we have trash in our yard from their customes or from the wind blowing it into our yard. We are tired of picking it up its getting very tired some working all day then comming home to a trashy yard. We keep our yard and as my husband would say manicured he takes pride in it but gets so upset when we have to clean it so much..It has gotten to the point where he at times gathers it up and throws it back into their property. I told him he needs to stop or we may be the ones getting in trouble. I just dont know what to do? his mom did call the city and about 5 or so years ago they were picking it up in the morning but that only lasted about a month. we have found a crack pipe a seringe once we kept it for a while but he was afraid the kids might find it they cant even play in the front yard. Realy frustrated

Your best option may be one in terms of friendly nieghbor relations. Talk to the manager of the store and explain the problem. Ask them to have an employee clean your yard of their trash each morning. If it is not successful go higher up the chain of command. If unsuccessful, try a media liason -- bad publicity is not good for business.
