Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Volkswagen lease contract
I am preparing to turn in a vw passat this December after a 3 year driver's option. I talked to a VW rep discussing the procedures on turning the car back in. They spoke of a $350 disposition fee that would be added to my final balance. I told them I didn't remember agreeing to the fee, but they explained that it was stated in section 2 of the contract.
Well, I went home and reviewed my carbon copy version of the contract and noticed that the disposition fee line was left blank. It is signed by both the VW finance manager and me.
Any ideas of what I might legally be responsible for?
Any help is appreciated!

Re: Volkswagen lease contract
nothing...make them produce an original contract with the fee..and remind them that you will not be a future customer or refer people...etc..
