Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

there's no warranty on the car but i think the dealer screwed me over

I purchased a veh in January of this year from a used car dealer. There was no warranty on the veh..The dealer refused to let me have the veh inspected by my own mechanic..Given the situation I was in I had to purchase a car right away and they sold it to me. I started having problems within two weeks...notified the dealer and he said to come back if it persists. It persisted and 2 weeks ago the dealership had to tow my veh to the repair shop because it wouldn't start. I had 3 estimates stating the problem was the transmission. The dealership replaced the fuel line. I picked the veh up two days ago. Yesterday I put gas in the car and the gas came pouring out from underneath the vehicle. The car was again towed to the dealership and is now there awaiting repairs. I accused the dealership of faulty repair work and threatened to get an atty. They told me to go ahead and waste my money since I don't have a case! I believe they used deceptive practices in the sale of the veh, they sold me a lemon and now they've endangered my life with the faulty repair work on the veh. Do I have a case?

Your case is only for the faulty repair of the fuel line.

When you buy a used car without warranty, you buy it as is, where it is, with all faults. When the dealer wouldn't let your mechanic inspect it, you should have bailed out.
