Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Bad Credit Report
My credit has been shot for 5 years now. I recently learned that the SOL has expired on my bad debt. Since the original credit card lenders have documented this on my credit report, can collection agencies also report the same debt on my credit report? It seems to be a double whammy.

Re: Bad Credit Report
Notify the credit agencies, in writing, that the collection agencies are merely reporting duplicates of debt that has already been determined to have expired under the statute of limitations. They should remove it.
