Bad Debt

I loaned a small Canadian firm $35,000.00. They are going through hard times and have defaulted on the loan. What legal steps are needed to protect my interests?

Do you have documentation of the loan? If so, you could try to sue them in TX for creating the loan here. That might be subject to objection because they are in Canada. Otherwise, you're going to have to call a Canadian lawyer. If you want to discuss this further, contact me by email.
