Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Bill Collections
Have a customer who wanted a bid on a project. Submitted the bid, she accepted, work was completed. She paid for half of the project, but now states we are too expensive and will not pay the remainder. If I go to small claims court can I obtain more that what is owed... ie travel time, filing fee PITA fee?

Re: Bill Collections
You can recover your costs of court, which includes the filing fee and service of process. Past that, your damages are limited to those caused by the breach of contract.
