I called a adult entertainment company that says it's free they asked for a credit card number for age verification now they are billing me for 1600 dollars because the card was from a old closed account they said they are going to turn it over to the authorities can they do that??

Ignore their threats. They're trying to scare money out of you. They aren't going to follow through. STOP TALKING TO THEM. If they call, hang up. Immediately.
