Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

My car is financed through PFS Auto Finance in Irving Texas, and I called to let them know I was paying my car payment late. It is on the 4th every month, and the finance company told me that there are no grace periods and I can't be late. I don't have a tote-the-note contract on my car. what can I do? Is not having a grace period legal in TEXAS.

Yes..there is no grace period on auto nor personal property loans..
