Ex has car under my name and is late paying

My ex-girlfriend has my car under my name and her father is the co-sighner...she has been late on the car payments for the past year. My credit is being ruined. I let her use the car to take my 4 year old son to school. Am I allowed to repossess the car and make the payments myself to restore my credit?

If you have the title to the car and are responsible for payments, the car belongs to you. You can take peaceful efforts to regain your property. If you don't know how to do this, I suggest you hire a lawyer.
