Can a lienholder repo your car without notifying you in writing?

Yes. There is no requirement for advance notice. ASsuming this is a normal retail installment sale with the standard terms.

Absolutely. Stop and think about what you'd do if you got a notice saying that they were going to repo your car. Wouldn't you hide it from them?
