Car Repo Repayment
My Question is I bought a car for my boyfriend and during the course of the relationship the car was repossessed. A new law went into affect about really pursuing unpaid debts.
Well the situation is they are comign after me now for repaying the balance of the repossessed car. My boyfriends name was not on the contracts but was ont eh insurance and paid most of the payments have proof of both. Is there any civil action I can take or can be taken that can make him help me pay these loan off......thanks

Re: Car Repo Repayment
Since the note is in your name, you are liable on the debt. If you can prove that the car was a loan to your boyfriend (not a gift), then you can sue him for the monies owed to you. TCL
