Ex Got Car Repo'd under My Name

My ex girlfriend has had the car for 4 years under my name and her father is co-signer.....the car was repo'd today. It has ruined my credit and I was wondering if I can sue the ex to pay all the costs? The car balance is 8,500.00. What type of lawyer would I need? Thank you

Of course you can sue her. But, if she wouldn't pay for the car, how is she going to pay your claims? Many good lawyers will do this for a retainer and an hourly fee.
