Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Car Repossesions In Texas

In the state of Texas does a bank or whoever you have your car financed through have to give you a 10 day certified mail letter before they can repo your car? I worked for a bank years ago(5 1/2)for 27 years and we had to send a certified letter before it could be repossesed.

Please let me know?

No. If someone was given 10 days notice that their car was to be repo'd, you can bet they'd have it well hidden before the repo man came calling.
